Old rivals Tisch and Keagan face off
There was some pretty good tennis at the club last Saturday.
GOOD weather for tennis last Saturday brought enough players to Umtentweni Tennis Club to have five courts, mostly quiet and serious – just one noisy one – going strong.

Visitors, Jocelyn Norton and Tisch Roos joined in and there were some very strongly-contested men’s sets especially when old rivals, Tisch and Keagan van der Merwe, were up against each other.
Keith Gatley provided a very interesting assortment of eats comprising chicken kebabs, meatballs, muffins and mini cupcakes.
Chairman, Dan Dimitriu, has taken off for the clay courts of Romania and, no doubt, is enjoying visiting old flames and friends as well as family members. Members wish him a happy trip.
Congratulations to Raj Naganna, Keagan van der Merwe, Liesl Smith and Chantelle Donald who have been chosen to represent the South Coast team when they play against a Southern Counties inland team.
Birthday wishes go to Liesl Smith for the 4th, Dion Vorster for the 5th, Shauna Hudson for the 6th.
Members wish Tracy Norton a speedy recovery from her recent operation so that she can get back to dog training asap.
