MONTHLY medal at Margate Country Club last Saturday provided some fantastic scores.
In the A division Robert Mavundla had nett 66, to win by seven from Ivan Curlewis.

It was in the B division that the really hot golf took place, with Ernie Janse returning a nett 62.
He won by seven from Carlos Pereira.
C division honours went to Dave Morrison on 35 points, by four from Dolf Willemse.
The Wobblers alliance at Margate Country Club last Wednesday was won on 86 points by Dave Boyd, Eddie Gommersall and Cyril Greensmith.
Runners-up on 81 points were Derek Egerton, Louie Gouws and Ernie Janse.
Last Thursday’s Stableford was won by Carlos Pereira on 36 points, by one from Gary Smith.
The business day last Friday saw Hans Beilhartz, Brian Jeffreys, Dave Morrison and Bob Weanie clean up on 84 points.
Runners-up on 83 points were Danie van der Post, Mike Geiger, Graham Gold and Ulric Gous.
They counted out Graeme Massam, Rob Weyer, Ernie Janse and a ‘ghost’.
