Tennis on the double at Tweni

THE club championships at Umtentweni Tennis Club have drawn to a close.
David van Tichelen and Rob Browne were victorious over Tisch Roos and Matt Holmes in a tough men’s doubles three-setter with the final score being 6-7, 6-4, 6-3.

In an equally tough match, Helgard du Preez emerged the winner over Chris Connellan in the men’s singles back-draw final 4-6, 6-2, 6-1.

Most important up-coming event is the quiz evening on July 27 straight after tennis.
Please write your name on the list at the clubhouse and come along for an evening of ‘brain strain’ and fun.
A meal will be provided with dessert as well so please support this social event. Bring your friends and family as well.
