Franchise cricket heats up at PSCC
Two provincial franchises, the Hollywoodbets Dolphins and VB Knights battle it out.
Cricket fans of all ages, including pupils from various primary schools, have gathered at Port Shepstone Country Club to watch two provincial franchises, the Hollywoodbets Dolphins and VB Knights battle it out during a three-day cricket festival.

The Dolphins won the first game by 58 runs, making 290 with Knights making 232 in reply.
It’s the second year in-a-row that the festival has been held on the South Coast.
Title sponsor has been Nashua South Coast, backed up by other main sponsors Roto Tank and Umthunzi Hotel and Conference.
The second 50-over game was on the go at the time of going to print, with a T20 planned for today (Thursday 5th) starting at 1pm.
Then there’s the celebrity golf day this Friday, played as a scramble drive alliance.
There will be involvement from school cricketers as well, from very young all the way up to high school.
