Off the Hook: Save the date for fishing compo fundraiser
All proceeds will go towards the renovation of a mission home and a church. Entry is R100 per angler and lines will be out between Rocky Bay and Ifafa from 5am.
DUE to the rough sea and drab weather over the past week, hardly any boats launched.
Some shore fishermen were brave enough to cast a line over the weekend, despite the strong winds, but few catches were reported.

Just a reminder of the annual Adonai Baptist Church fishing compo which takes place in Sezela this Saturday, September 28. All proceeds will go towards the renovation of a mission home and a church. Entry is R100 per angler and lines will be out between Rocky Bay and Ifafa from 5am.
There are lots of prizes to be won, and there will be something for the junior fishermen too.
The weigh-in will be at Reubens Bay in Sezela, where there will be food stalls available for competitors and spectators alike.
