Track Torque: Hamilton wins stop-start affair in Tuscany
The Mercedes team is still too fast for the opposition which takes the real combat out of the greater challenge.
The Tuscan Grand Prix was full of drama with two accidents, at both the start and re-start, necessitating a second re-start.
Three starts in all, with six cars lost including those driven by Max Verstappen, Pierre Gasly, Carlos Sainz, Antonio Giovinazzi, Kevin Magnussen and Nicholas Latifi.

Eventually we got down to some real racing and a pattern developed.
Lewis Hamilton won, followed by Valtteri Bottas.
Alex Albon made his way through the field with some very good driving, finishing third to take his first podium place.
The late-braking master Daniel Ricciardo was in fourth place, followed by a fast but sad Sergio Perez in fifth; sad because it has just been announced that he will be replaced in next year’s Racing Point team, which will be re-named Aston Martin.
Lando Norris was just three seconds behind Perez in sixth place.

Renault has made great strides with their engine, but Honda and Ferrari still need to develop more power. Somehow it just has to happen!
