Steven is fresh water angling champ

The members have a lot of fun while enjoying some competitive fishing.

The South Coast Fresh Water Angling Club recently held their club champs. Drien Humphries emerged as the women’s champion, with Ena Ward second.

Junior champion was up-and-coming angler Johnny Coetzee.

The victor ludorum went to Michiel Schuurman. He was the overall winner of the league competition between Kokstad (two teams) and Margate (three teams).

Ena Ward – women’s runner-up.

The overall champion for the year was Steven van Dyk.

While the winners were acknowledged, the club really focuses on being a fun, family one. Their motto is ‘all for one, one for all’ and/or ‘best club ever’ about sums it up.
