Athletes enjoy popular Durban race

The event was an overall success.

Howard Cele clocked the fastest time of the Scottburgh Athletic Club members who took part in the Absa Run Your City 10km race in Durban last Sunday.

He ran a 43:11 with Lungelo Zama next, about three minutes behind.

For most, enjoying the route is the main priority as the popular road run allows entrants to take in the beautiful city’s scenery, landscapes and more.

Overall winners were Elroy Gelant (men) and Christine Njoki (women).

Each club member was praised for their efforts, with the hope that next year’s race would be even better.

It was a great event overall.
