THE BELL
The recent drawn fours competition was won by Keiron Dacey, Tony Aveyard, Peter Anderson and Cedric Miles.
Runners-up were Stuart Chapple, Eddie Human, Clinton Knott and Vernon Strauss.
Winning the women’s section were Tracy Graham, Charmaine Vermeulen, Desairee Maartens and Mari Strauss.
In second place were Tammy Gibbons, Amanda Taylor, Dina van der Walt and Tillie Kirkland.
The next club competition is the drawn mixed on November 23 and 24.
Winners of the open fours, sponsored by Merlo Hardware, Casa Mia restaurant and Pool Prof, were Louw and Charmaine Vermeulen with Willy Knott and Stuart Chapple.
In second place were Justin Hinchliff, Michael van der Merwe, Jim Vaughan and Rodney Randell.
Third place went to Tammy Gibbons, Rosemarie Ludwig, Vernon Strauss and Heidi van der Merwe.

HIBBERDENE
The Hibberdene Spar drawn mixed trips on November 1 was won by Paul Hare, Silvia Pretorius and Bossie Boshoff.
Runners-up were Steffan Mahlman, Jill von Brandis, Maureen du Toit and Gawie Gordon.
Session went to Eddie Milne, Miriam Seager and Hettie Nel.
Members enjoyed a well-supported men’s fellowship tournament on October 29.
Teams from Hibberdene, The Bell Umtentweni and Margate took part.
The Bell won the trophy with 57 points, followed by Hibberdene, Margate and Umtetweni.
Hibberdene members thanked the other clubs for a lovely day of bowls.
The Gladiator Security nominated mixed trips was won by Luke Pohl, Bubbles Bezuidenhout and Tillie Kirkland.
In second place were Eddie Milne, Martin Rautenbach and Gill Rule.
Session went to Jim Vaughan, Glenda Snyman and Rodney Randall.

MARGATE
The JL Panelbeaters sponsored open trips was won by Mervyn Barratt, Trevor Haywood and Hilton Cannon.
Runners-up were Annette Symes, Yvonne Bausek and Jenny Louw.
Session winners were Johan du Preez, Jeanne Gregori and Theo Vorster.
The lucky draw was won by Annette Symes.
The Tiago’s open pairs the week before was won by Sannie and Gerhard Balzer from Theo Vorster and Mel Glover.
Session prize went to Dorathea van Rooyen and Dave van As. Dave also won the lucky draw.

VILLAGE
Winning the Hibiscus Retirement Village open trips on October 29 were Corrie Pieters, Helen Pieters and Barry Mollett.
Runners-up were Dora Vosloo, Bertha Lane and Jeanne Fensham.
First session winners were Martiens Olivier, André Lourens and Elsa Lourens.
Second-session winners were Brian Douthwaite, Garry Hess and Manny Rodrigues.
