Eagles soar at Umkomaas GC

The next game will be held on December 3.

November had the Village Eagles Golf Club play at Umkomaas golf course.
The course was in good condition thanks to all for the effort.

The club had 52 players in attendance on a cool morning.

The lost ball count was a low 31 balls, and the prize went to Colin McCal-Peat for his estimate. Well done to all the players for such a low lost ball count.

Best lady was Janet Beckerley with 41 individual points, and Noel Jessop on a countout, with Dennis Middlemiss took the men’s prize, also on 41 points.

The winners on the day were Graham Coxell, Alan Munn, Ian Baird and Janet Beckerley on an alliance score of 92 points.

The longest day, and collecting the Stones Trophy was Jeremy Boyd, Rob Bowman, Gus Crous and Janet Boyd on 81 points.

The results were calculated by Stan Sim and Alistair Eyers.

Ian Aitken presented the results, and this went without a hitch.

On the fines side, Jeremy Boyd was the master, and this was well-supported.

The Eagles thank all sponsors for making this an enjoyable day.

The next game will be held at Umdoni Park Golf Club on December 3. See you all there and at the Christmas dance in the evening on the same day.

Longest Day: Jeremy Boyd, Janet Boyd, Gus Crous and Rob Bowman.
