Busy schedule for tennis players
There's lots to look forward to for local tennis players.
There is plenty to look forward to in terms of Ugu Tennis Association tennis on the South Coast this year.
First up will be the Madhatters themed Mixed Doubles Handicap Challenge at Umtentweni Tennis Club on Sunday, January 26.

A new tournament will be played at Southbroom on Sunday, February 23, namely the Tiebreak Tee-off. Format will be men’s and ladies’ doubles.
The Cuatro Closed starts in March and will be played on March 9, 16 and 23, as well as on April 6 and 13.
Another new tournament, the AMEX National Club Championships, will be played April 27 and May 10/11.
There’ll be a third new event, the Abadala Ranking Tournament (Category C), at Uvongo on June 21 and 22.
The 190s League will be played on June 28, July 17, August 2 and September 13, with a spare day on August 16 if necessary.
The annual Uvongo Tournament is set for November 1 and 2.
The big one, the Ugu Masters, will be held from December 4 to 7.
This is not an exhaustive list, with club champs as usual and junior events all planned, never mind some interclub fixtures, away games and, of course, Masters tournaments around the country.
