Super scores at Southbroom

There's been plenty on the go at the club.

Louise Leal won the medal at Southbroom Golf Club last Wednesday on nett 72, followed by Regina Bosshart on nett 75.

The Stableford was won by Glynis Nisbet on 40 points, with Precious Mkhungo next on 34 points and Shelley Myers on 32 points.

Ant Hughes won the men’s section on nett 68.

Most opted for the Stableford, which was won by Rory O’Donnell on 39 points.

Tied for second on 37 points were Graham Holford and Emil Hierhold.

Three players had 36 points, namely Derek James, Phil Verwey and Malcolm Greenland.

The competition last Saturday was won on 79 points by Irene Schanda, Di Morris and Shelley Myers.

Runners-up on 71 points were Precious Mkhungo, Candida Amm, Heleen Hissey and Margaret Stoellinger.

The men’s comp was a Combined Stableford Alliance and won by Tim Elgar, Phillip Braybrook, Albert Hanekom and Neville Farhana on 86 points.

In second place were Roger Hissey, Norman Jeffery, Geoff Skelton and Det Wichmann on 83 points.

Third spot went to Jack Moulder, Peter Volck, Rory O’Donnell and Phil Verwey on 82 points.

Chicken Run: Regina Bosshart 19 points, Brian Jolliffe 19 points.
