Port Shepstone Saps’ widows and orphans golf day resounding hit

The day was well supported.

Scramble drive was the format for the Saps’ Widows & Orphans Fund golf day last Saturday.

Winners on 115 points were Ashoo Singh, Naresh Deendayal, Rishen Goberdan and Preggie Kandasamy.

Two points adrift on 113 points were Jeremy Daniel, Baruth Ramsuran, Baloo Gengan and Anthony Reddy.

In third place on 113 points were Ryan Ringo, Ronan Rogers, Mike Nadauld and Kevin Manthey.

They counted out Robert Mavundla, Sbu Ntozakhe, Loyiso Goqwana and Morris Moodley. Nearest the pins were Steve Senekal (5th), Ilse Steyn (8th), Debi Stewart (14th) and Ganes Munsami (17th).

Sunday saw the Wozani Par 3 Challenge take place, sponsored by Wozani Berg Gasoline, with the course designed by Ryan Ringo.

Winners were Kreeson and Kiara Naicker on 41.5 points, followed by Gavin van Wyk and Bruce Holmes on 40.5 points.

Third place went to Sashen Govender and Mike Willemse on 39.25 points.

Fourth place was secured by Chris Malan and Tiaan du Plessis on 37.125 points, with Eddie Ringo and Ronan Rogers in fifth spot on 36.75 points.

Nearest the pins were Rudi Steyn (1st), Ronan Rogers (3rd), Bruce Holmes (13th), Org Nieuwoudt (14th) and Gavin van Wyk (17th).

Nearest for two were Gavin van Wyk (9th) and Diana Ringo (18th).
