Selborne slide to second league loss

Margate has started the season well.

Selborne Park went down to Margate Country Club in league golf last week Sunday.
The Southern KZN Handicap league game was played at Selborne, where the visitors won 7,5-4,5.
Margate took the greensomes 2,5-1,5 and consolidated the win by taking the singles 5-3.
One of the funnier moments of the day was produced by Margate player John Hopley, who somehow managed to get to his tee shot on the first to ‘stick’ onto a tee marker.
Not something you see everyday on a golf course.
