Prizes up for grabs at fishing compo

Designated fishing areas are from Sandspit (no 4) to Orange Rocks in Uvongo.

If you love fishing, make sure you take part in Zion Tabernacle Ministries’ fishing competition on Saturday, September 13.

First prize is R1000, second R500 and third R250, with all receiving a trophy. Registration is at 05:00 at The Block in Port Shepstone and costs R100 per person.

Designated fishing areas are from Sandspit (no 4) to Orange Rocks in Uvongo, and the fishing times are from 05:30 to 10:30. All fish caught must be edible and brought to the weighing point at The Block. Final weigh-in is at 11:00.

All entrants must produce a valid fishing licence and abide by the rules and regulations of the KZN Wildlife and Marine Act. For further details, contact Bradlee Pillay on 082 4390868.
