The launch included a draw to group different districts according to the sports codes they would participate in.

The KZN Provincial Indigenous Games will be held at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre and Margate Sport School, from September 24 to 26.
KZN MEC for Sports, Arts, and Culture, Mntomuhle Khawula, launched the games at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre on Tuesday this week.
He said the games will showcase the richness of the province’s indigenous sporting heritage.
The launch included a draw to group different districts according to the sports codes they would participate in.
For Jukskei, the Ugu district was placed in Group C with Umkhanyakude and Zululand.
Ugu was placed in Group A with Ilembe, Uthukela and King Cetshwayo for Drie stokkies.
For Induku, Ugu was placed in Group C with Ilembe and Umgungundlovu.
And for Debeke, Ugu was placed in Group B with Umzinyathi, Uthukela and Umkhanyakude.
The district was placed in Group B along with Amajuba, Uthukela, and Umkhanyakude for the Incuva games.
For the iKhokho games, Ugu was placed in Group A with Ethekwini, Harry Gwala and Umgungundlovu.
Addressing the gathering, Khawula said sports facilities must not only be used for government events.
