Pairs power for Stephanie and Marie

It was a fantastic day of bowls overall.

The finals of the Kingfisher Bowling Association men’s and women’s pairs were played at The Bell last weekend.
It was a day of fantastic bowls and all involved can be proud of their performances.

In the women’s section, winners were Stephanie Podmore and Marie Gouws (Widenham), with Linda Maynardt-Hudson and Annetjie Kidd (AMBC) in second place.

Tied for third were Eileen Burt and Helen Proctor (Southbroom) and Pam Cole-Cook and Jessica Henderson (Banner’s Rest).

Men’s winners were Terrence Mc Glynn and Timothy Woolley (Riverside), with Albert Munnik and Bruce Hoyer (Hibberdene) the runners-up.

Tied for third were Ashley Jacobs and Colin Edwards (Scottburgh) and Glenn Hatfield and Tony Waters (Southbroom).
