Major golf tourney heads to South Coast

The event also boosts local tourism.

The SA Women’s Masters is coming to the South Coast again this year.

Presented by Lifestyle Developers, and supported by South Coast Tourism & Investment Enterprise (SCTIE), it will take place at San Lameer Country Club and Southbroom Golf Club from November 25 to 28.

Aside from the great golf on show, the event also boosts local tourism and unlocks significant investment potential for the region.

“We are incredibly proud to welcome one of the most prestigious women’s professional golf tournaments to the South Coast,” said Dr Vusumuzi Sibiya, CEO of SCTIE.

The tournament carries the weight of history.

Established and sanctioned by the Women’s PGA of South Africa in 1996, it stands as the second-oldest women’s professional golf tournament in Southern Africa.

This year’s championship returns to the ‘Home of Women’s Golf’, where champions have been crowned and careers have been forged.

Jenny Havenga, owner of Lifestyle Developers and Lifestyle Golf, brings both championship credentials as a former provincial golfer and business acumen as a leading property developer to this transformative event.

Her company’s recent deal with SCTIE positions the South Coast as a prime international destination through integrated golfing and property platforms.
