MARGATE
The club hosted its 87th birthday bash last weekend. Congratulations to Team Titanium, consisting of Glenn Hatfield, Pat Brand Lyle, Amanda Visser and Rob Lyle, who were the convincing winners. This festive annual tournament was well supported and the standard of bowls played was of the highest order.
Thanks were extended to all who took part and showcased their bowling skills. Special thanks to the numerous companies and individuals who sponsored this important event.
The Food Lover’s Market drawn trips on November 28 was won by Roy Deakon, Moira Faure and Edith Button. Runners-up were Manny Rodrigues, Steve Blundell and Denny Watson.
Session prize went to Trevor Heywood, Jeanne Gregori and Carol Scott. Lucky draw was won by Fawzia Karani.
The Sebenza Carwash open pairs on December 5 was won by Sannie Blazer and Jenny Louw. Runners-up were Johan du Preez and Jeanne Gregori.
Session prize went to Mike Dunn and Mel Glover. Lucky draw was won by Yvonne Bausek.
VILLAGE
Winning the JL Panelbeaters open trips held on the 25th November 2025 were Jeanne Gregori, Dave van As and Johan du Preez.
Runners-up were Brian Douthwaite, Chris Allen and Bill Eccles.
First session winners were Martiens Olivier, Andre Lourens and Elsa Lourens.
Second session went to Anthony Card, Colin Gourlie, Amelia Pieterse.
Winning the Hibiscus Retirement Village open trips held on December 2 were Brian Douthwaite, Ian Hutton and Bill Eccles.
Runners-up were Ali Mitchell, Ann Waugh and Paul Russell.
First session winners were Philip Pretorius , Luke Werth and Wikus van Vollenstee.
Second session went to Jeanne Gregori, Dave van As and Johan du Preez.
HIBBERDENE
The Hibberdene SuperSpar drawn pairs on December 5 was won by Luke Pohl and Anibal Menezes.
In second place were Eddie Milne and Hettie Nel. Session went to Alida Munnik and Melinda Gordon.
RIVERSIDE
Winners of the Ignite ladies bowls were Ermi Joubert, Sharolyn Dacey and Dina van der Walt. Runners-up were Elsa, Bertha Lane and Anne Hough.

THE BELL
The Piet se Hut pairs was won by Sharolyn Dacey and Steve O’Moore.
Runners-up were Tammy Gibbons and John Keevill, with third place going to Bob Corringham and Desairee Maartens.
