Sezela Cricket Club put Crusaders to the sword in Division 2 of the Southern KZN 30 Over Cup last Sunday.
Batting first at home, Sezela made 276-6 in 30 overs, with most of the runs scored by Travis van Niekerk 103 (57), Warrick Hendey 50 (19), Stefan Hoffmann 41 (35), Julian Rivetti 36 (36) and Carl Shaw 22 (28).
For Crusaders, Elton Pillay took 3-48 (6).
In reply, Crusaders CC were all out for 160.
Leading run scorers were Curtis Appalsamy 38 (42), Charlie Madraveeran 34 (37) and Neven Pillay 30 (24).
Angelo Scarpa was in form with the ball, taking 3-33 (5), with support from the centurion Travis, who picked up 2-7 (2).
