The first final of the AMBC club championship for 2026 took place on March 31.
In a nail-biting final of the mixed drawn pairs, Mike Dennison and Yvonne Connelly beat Linda Mynhard-Hudson and Ted Moffett. Well done to all.
The winners of the J Leslie Smith & Co men’s trips that was played on April 2 were Bob Elliott, Brendan O’Donoghue and Aubrey Williams with a score of 4+14.
Runners-up were Estelle Collier (who stood in for John), Derek Hodge and John Backeberg with a score of 4+14. The 2nd session went to Jian Stockton, Adam Wieruszowski and Mike Malone with a score of 2+26.
