Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) is unstoppable at the moment. The 19 year-old drove a faultless race to win the Monaco Grand Prix and become the Prince of Monte Carlo.
It was a difficult race, as usual, and was stopped 20 minutes from the end due to the track breaking up on a corner.
After a hasty repair the race resumed with Monaco seeing an Italian winner again after a gap of 22 years, when Jarno Trulli won it driving for Renault.
Max Verstappen (Red Bull) was doomed at the start with a lack of power from his engine which forced him to retire.
Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) drove a fantastic race to come in second after teammate Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) slid off on the broken track, after lying third for most of the race.
Isack Hadjar (Red Bull) took over the Red Bull challenge and fought hard for third position on the podium.
In fourth place was Oscar Piastri (McLaren) after teammate and world champion Lando Norris had to retire on lap 43 of 78.
The two Racing Bull Fords, driven by Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad did well to finish fifth and sixth respectively, while Pierre Gasly (Alpine) and Alex Albon (Williams) were next up, followed by Esteban Ocon (Haas).
Sergio Perez (Cadillac) narrowly missed a point scoring position, having to settle for 11th place, behind Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) who snatched the single point for 10th place.
The Monaco race was a very difficult one with minimal overtaking and a high mortality rate.
Drivers who had to retire were Carlos Sainz (Williams), Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), Lance Stroll (Aston Martin), Lando Norris (McLaren), Oliver Bearman (Haas), Valtteri Bottas (Cadillac) and Max Verstappen (Red Bull).
The Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona is next, follows directly after Monaco this Sunday.
