Road carnage and good results

The crashes have mostly been caused by drivers who are drunk and/or negligent.

OUR roads have once again become ‘killing fields’ with a high number of accidents.

Families have been torn apart by the deaths of breadwinners and loved ones and those who are injured have a huge economic impact on society at large.

And the crashes have mostly been caused by drivers who are drunk and/or negligent.

This province recorded the highest number of deaths (205) as a result of fatal crashes.

The figures are shocking and fly in the face of the promises made by government to crack down on errant drivers.

Here on the South Coast traffic officials are more interested in raking in revenue by trapping in 60km zones than road safety.

Top class

Congratulations and good wishes go to the Ugu District’s class of 2013. The matriculants have done the region proud with their results.
