A WOMAN was left seriously injured after a motor vehicle rear-ended a heavy goods vehicle on the N2 south near Umkomaas this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to the accident. Upon their arrival on scene they found that the woman was in a serious condition, as the car had overturned.
She was treated on scene before she was transported to hospital for further medical care. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
