ON arrival at Flavours restaurant on Marine Drive in Ramsgate, you will immediately experience warm hospitality from the friendly staff who usher you to your desired seating area. You can choose the spacious patio which overlooks a lush garden or you can opt for the more intimate indoor dining area.
The menu at Flavours boasts a variety of cuisine from around the world. Among the restaurant’s speciality dishes are the camembert cheese starter, lightly coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried until soft and gooey inside. It is served with a fig preserve and melba toast. You can also try the pork and prawn wontons, which are served with a sweet chilli and soy dipping sauce.
The pork belly, slow-roasted to perfection, is popular among patrons and is served with a sweet and sour ginger sauce, topped with an apple and red cabbage slaw. Another favourite dish is the succulent roast duck served with a plum and citrus sauce.
Each of the main courses at the restaurant is served with crispy potatoes and fresh vegetables.
