Dancers put on a ‘belly good’ show

A portion of the proceeds will go to Hibiscus Animal Welfare.

SATURDAY night’s Harem Secrets belly dance show, held in aid of Hibiscus Animal Welfare, played to a packed hall at the Bethanien Lutheran Church.

It was definitely a show not to be missed, produced by owner of the Harem Secrets dance school Velia Garnham and featuring a host of able participants.

The decor was great, candles shone on all the tables and a wheelbarrow of liquor was raffled to boost the coffers of the Hibiscus Animal Welfare.

Congratulations to Velia and all the cast. The costumes were really quite superb and the show highly professional, and judging by the whistles and applause, very well received.
