Local musos perform at club

ESKOM definitely did not come to the party and ‘sulked in a dark corner’ when the lights went out for the Bernie’s Band of Madhatters and Misfits at Port Shepstone Country Club last Sunday.

However, this did not dampen the spirits of patrons who waited patiently for the lights to come back on, so they could enjoy their favourite mixed bag of retro rock ‘n pop music from this talented group of local musicians which included drummer Bernie James, Bernie ‘bass man’ Chambers, and guitarists and vocalists Sam Selmer-Olsen and Elaine Wareing.  Dave Marks also took the stage.
