Connecting Stars wows
A fantastic afternoon was enjoyed by both young and old.
IT’S not every day that you fall in love with a band. Well, not… instantaneously!
But folk rock duo, Cheryl and Martin Engel, of Connecting Stars is certainly one of those bands.
Last Sunday, Connecting Stars treated South Coasters to an afternoon of beautiful melodies and harmonies at The Rock Music Bistro, Umzumbe.
The couple’s fun loving connection on stage captured the audience along with its easy-to-the-ear (and foot-tapping) music.
And double thumbs up for Connecting Stars’ version of Ella Henderson’s popular radio-played song ‘Ghost’.
In a nutshell, their music made for a dreamy unforgettable live performance.
Interestingly, Martin was formerly the manager and bass player of rock band Tree63, while Cheryl has extensive experience as a studio session singer.
