Baking was the ‘icing’ on top at Stonecroft Ministries
Women were treated to some wonderful baking techniques.
GREAT entertainment, accompanied by mouth-watering cupcakes, were well received by the women at the recent Stonecroft Ministries’ monthly tea at the Port Shepstone Country Club last Friday.
Beulah Girdwood of Umtentweni demonstrated a number of baking techniques. She reminded the women that cupcakes do not only form part of children’s birthday parties, but also in some cases, serve as a wedding or birthday cake.
The women were treated with various songs by Ria Hackland. Ria also delivered an interesting talk and challenged her guests to live their lives with love, meaning and passion.
The next monthly tea takes place on April 17 at the Port Shepstone Country Club. Regional Magistrate, Johann Bester will deliver a talk on human trafficking.
Suhana Moodley will be the main speaker and dancers from the Ruth Jakeman Studio of Dancing will entertain. Entry fee is R30 which includes refreshments. To book contact Maria at 039 6812801.
