The restaurant offers an a la carté menu, coffee shop and fully stocked bar which will satisfy your taste buds with an array of choices for the whole family.

For diners with a sweet tooth, the homemade malva pudding and tiramisu will satisfy your every craving.

Whatever your choice, meals can be complemented perfectly with a bottle of something special from the extensive wine list.

“We are known for our bunny chows, curries and flavoursome lunch specials as well as our month end buffets,” says Sharon Claasen, manager at Gorgez View.

Its coffee shop serves delightful drinks and freshly baked treats.

After your meal, take a trip on the Hamba Wehelie train through nature or there’s horse riding for those more daring.

The venue is the perfect setting for a wedding in the countryside and its conference venue can accommodate up to 70 delegates.

The restaurant is open Monday to Thursday 5pm to 9pm, Fridays 2pm to 9pm and Saturdays and Sundays 7am to 9pm.

The coffee shop is open Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm.
