PEOPLE came out in their numbers to support Christ The King Catholic Church’s potjiekos competition at St Martin de Porres grounds last Saturday.
The competition saw some interesting concoctions being prepared and they all looked and smelled fantastic.
This was the perfect opportunity for the young (and the not so young) and adventurous to try their hand at potjie cooking. However, for those who weren’t particularly hungry, there were flea market tables with plenty of cakes, cooldrinks, ice cream, crafts and sauces on sale.
A jumping castle and a clown also added to the day’s festivities.
The South Coast Herald is also on Facebook and Twitter – why not join us there?
