The food presentation is top class, with great attention to colour and detail. Yes 30° South Restaurant at Umthunzi Hotel and Conference in Umtentweni, is the perfect place to enjoy a sumptuous meal with family and friends and it is open seven days a week.
Vincent Nsele, the food and beverage manager, who has been in the hospitality industry for more than 10 years, oversees each meal to ensure it is stylishly presented and pleasing to the eye.
“Our Sunday lunches are very popular and the restaurant is packed,” says Vincent. “Lunch is from 12pm to 2.30pm and bookings are preferable to avoid disappointment,” he adds. “Each Sunday there is a different menu and these are alternated and tweaked to offer that special dining experience.”
The new tapas menu is growing in popularity and caters for those who enjoy a more relaxed style of dining. Choose from meaty, vegetarian and seafood platter options.
It is also the ideal venue for weddings or functions and the menu is adapted to customers’ requirements.
Breakfast is available daily from 7am to 9.30am. Lunch, tapas platters and chef’s specials are from 11am to 5pm and dinner is from 6pm to 9pm daily.
On a Sunday, the tapas menu is only available from 3pm to 5pm.
