Plague of illegal abortions

As was reported in last week’s Herald illegal abortions have become a massive problem.

We need the police to crack down on the abortionists who prey on desperate women.

These backstreet clinics administer abortion drugs to the women who take them unsupervised by a medical practitioner. Such pills should only be used when the foetus is under three months, but women are aborting foetuses of more than six months.

According to the Pregnancy Act an abortion may be done during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Illegal abortions pose a huge risk to women but the scourge continues unabated.
