Striving to be a ‘virtuous woman’

Women of all ages, cultures and denominations attended the breakfast.

ELEGANCE and glamour were certainly evident at Margate Hotel last Saturday when a number of women gathered for a high tea hosted by Virtuous Woman Ministry.

The tea was in celebration of phenomenal women and the dress code was ‘fancy hats.’

The topic on the agenda was ‘relationships’ and guest speaker Mozie Madikizela gave an enlightening talk on mother and daughter relationships, what it means to be a praying woman, single parenting, the importance of being an educated woman, and being a woman in business.

‘Virtuous Woman Ministry’ was conceived in the heart of Cisca van Zyl who had the vision to inspire women of all ages to be a ‘Virtuous Woman of God.’

She and committee members, Marietjie van Zyl (administrator), Debbie van der Merwe, Sagree Naicker and Wendy Anne Nero, plan to reach out to women through mentoring, fellowship, counselling, training, outreaches, camps, conferences and breakfasts.
