Tea was an elegant and spiritual affair

Women enjoyed a relaxed day with great entertainment.

IT was an elegant and spiritual gathering at St Michael’s Hotel when the Vessel Of Honour Ministry (VOH), which is the Covenant Fellowship Church International’s women’s network, hosted it’s Elegant Tea recently.

The event attracted close to 200 women from around the South Coast and surrounding areas. Women were dressed elegantly, including hats.

“The purpose of this event was to minister the word of God to all kinds of women in a relaxed environment and to equip them on real life issues,” said event organiser Pastor Lindiwe Shozi.

She explained that it was sometimes difficult to invite people to church, but easier to reach to them in a more relaxed environment such as a high tea.

“The church is very pleased with the outcome with people even coming from Durban and Bizana,” she said.

They met the founder of the VOH ministry, who is also an image consultant, Prophetess Nomusa Dhlomo.

She gave the women great tips on looking good.

Siwe Zulu, who is an advocate, gave advice on how to handle legal matters.

After all the formalities, guests enjoyed a delicious meal while they entertained by jazz singer Siphokazi.
