EVER popular Dave Monks had the audience spellbound with his ‘Miami Showband’ repertoire at the Margate Village of Happiness’s Azalea Hall last Saturday night. Dave has been performing his one-man band show in various countries for years.
On Saturday, the local audience was treated to classic Irish favourites, country, pop and rock ‘n roll.
“It was absolutely fabulous,” said Yvonne Butcher, from the Village. “It was wonderful to have Dave perform here for us.”
The talented entertainer rounded off his show with a rousing rendition of ‘I am the Music Man’, which had everyone out of their seats.
