Marburg Primary celebrates silver jubilee
The function was a fitting tribute to the legacy of Marburg Primary’s rich history.
MARBURG Primary’s silver jubilee celebrations culminated in a glittering dinner and dance held at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre last Friday.
The high profile guests were treated to a night of good food, dazzling entertainment and nostalgic music.
The highlight of the evening was the awarding of commemorative frames to seven teachers who have served at the institution since inception.
Guest speaker Cookie Reddy mentioned that his time spent at Marburg Primary was one of the happiest times in his teaching career.
He paid tribute to all the stalwarts who had served Marburg Primary and highlighted the achievements of the past pupils with vivid recollection.
Guest danced their way late into the night to the music of Men in Black.
The function was indeed a fitting tribute to the legacy of Marburg Primary’s rich history. The school would like to thank all for making the event a success.
