BLUES-rock wizard Dan Patlansky blew away his homegrown fans at The Rock in Umzumbe last Friday.

Dan has kicked off his 2016 ‘Sweet Home Africa Acoustic Tour’ which included a one night performance on the coast.

Fans got a chance to see the maestro play acoustic song versions from his albums ’20 Stones’ (2012), ‘Wooden Thoughts’ (2013) and ‘Dear Silence Thieves’ (2014).

They were also treated to Dan playing acoustic versions of brand new songs from his new album set for release in April 2016, as well as classic covers converted with a modernised touch of blues and rock influences from the 1930s to date.
