IF you’re looking for a restaurant that serves a medley of seafood dishes, then Fish on the River at Spiller’s Wharf in Port Shepstone is definitely the place to go.
Meals are perfectly prepared and you can choose from a lovely assortment of fish dishes such as hake, calamari or even treat yourself to a popular seafood platter.
You can choose either to sit inside and enjoy the nautical theme or dine outside on the deck with super river views.
This fully licensed restaurant has a varied seafood menu that includes the catch of the day, fish with an Indian twist, or you can try the ‘Seafood Pot’ comprising grilled seafood smothered in a creamy lemon parsley sauce and served with chips or spicy rice.
The tasty salads are also perfect for the health conscious. But whatever you desire, the menu caters for all tastes, take out or eat in.
It is the perfect venue to take the whole family and, while you wait for your meal, there is a delightful pirate ship for the children to play on.
Note that out of season, the restaurant is closed on Mondays.
