SITUATED in beautiful Umtentweni, the Venture Inn is a comforting blend of  old world charm and a little bit of home.

Managers, Kerry-Lee Jesson and James Theunissen, along with their friendly staff will make sure you are well taken care of.

The famous Sunday lunch carvery, served between 12.30pm and 2.30pm and featuring a hearty four course meal with two starters, roasts and desserts, plus coffee and tea, at the affordable price of R80 per person is ‘back on the menu’.

With dishes ranging from classic eisbeins, to vegetarian platters, burgers, T-bones or just simple egg and chips there is something for everyone on the à la carte restaurant menu.

Prawns, snails, chicken schnitzel, calamari and basket meals are available for the peckish and the menu even includes a selection of special dishes for the little ones. Main meals are served with fresh vegetables and a choice of chips, baked potato, rice or ‘pap and sous’.

All meals are freshly prepared from scratch while diners can sit back and relax and enjoy a refreshing drink from the extensive bar.

With its brand new conference venue which seats 25 people as well as the popular restaurant, perfect for corporate and private functions such as special birthdays, weddings, and year-end celebrations don’t ‘venture’ past this popular inn.
