Despite the restaurant's German roots and name, one can also enjoy pizza, baked in a wood-fired oven.
German cuisine has a rich heritage of aromatic, spicy marinated meat dishes and creamy sauces that will awaken your taste buds.
New owner Cobus Bruwer says: “I always dreamed that some day I would own a German diner where I could live out my passion for German cooking with its distinct taste. When this restaurant came on the market, it was a dream come true.”
At Munchner Haus Restaurant in St Mike’s, you can expect delicious traditional comfort foods such as eisbein, bratwurst, bauernplatter or sauerbraten and the extensive menu also includes some hearty game dishes, steaks, seafood as well as light meals.
The fully stocked bar not only serves wines and spirits, but also German beer to enjoy with your meal.
