Tip for tomorrow: Begin your day the right way

Get up fresh and early because, the early bird always catches the worm.

Not everyone’s a morning person, and generally loathes the sound of an alarm going off at the break of dawn, the light breaking through bedroom curtains and the sound of happy individuals around them when you feel like you’ve been hit by a bus.

Start your day off on the right side of the bed by doing everything in your might to ensure that the next day will be better than the last.

• It’s good to be prepared so begin by getting tomorrow’s outfit ready today.

• Try not to eat any heavy foods right before bed so look at having light and healthy snacks and some water before you sleep.

• When setting your alarm, don’t let the alarm tone be anything too radical for an early morning. Try to get your favourite song or a soothing and relaxing tone to wake up to, but not something so soothing that will make you want to sleep again.

• Also, do not hit that snooze button. Once you do, your mind will also stay in ‘snooze mood’ for the rest of the day and you will most probably feel even more tired and irritable.

• Get up fresh and early as said, the early bird catches the worm.

• A good shower is sure to wake you up and wash away the day before.

• Having a good breakfast is also essential before you tackle the day’s work to strengthen you physically and mentally so you don’t have to worry about surpassing your hunger.

• Last but not least, it’s mind over matter – a positive mindset to start the day wil most probably help you deal with what life has to throw at you.
