With the theme for 2018 being ‘Style ahead of the Field’ – wear your best Afro-chic attire and get ready to celebrate in true style as the Sun Met Celebrated with G.H. Mumm guarantees the finest in Africa’s rich horse-racing heritage, style, fashion, and entertainment.

The A-list entertainment line-up will soon be announced, and General Access tickets can be purchased via Ticketpros.co.za and at the reception offices of the Kenilworth Racecourse, and vary in price according to seating area.

General Access tickets include access to all public areas including the grand stand with public bars and catering facilities, as well as access to the official after party and two R50 betting vouchers. For those wanting something a bit more exclusive there are many packages on offer, ranging from the picnic site to VIP packages starting from R2350. The VIP packages include a shaded area, food and drink offerings, access to the official after-party and much more.

With a crowd of 50 000 expected, the demand for space is always remarkable. Facilities include a 5000-capacity marquee village and 184 picnic sites.
