Born as Onika Tanya Maraj in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago, then raised in Queens, New York, the Trinidadian-American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actress became a familiar face to the pubic after releasing three of her mixtapes between 2007 and 2009, then signed to Young Money Entertainment in 2009.
In 2010, Nicki’s first ever studio album, Pink Friday, earned a number one spot on the US Billboard 200 as well as her second album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Nicki went on to becoming the first female solo artist to have seven singles simultaneously featuring on the US Billboard Hot 100.
In 2014, she released her third album, The Pinkprint, which produced her highest charting single ‘Anaconda’.
Nicki made her first movie debut as a voice artist in Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012), then had a role in The Other Woman (2014) and Barbershop: The Next Cut (2016). Last year, she made Time’s 100 list of the most influential people in the world.

• Ian Joseph Somerhalder (39)
Best known as ‘Damon Salvatore’ in CW’s The Vampire Diaries and ‘Boone Carlyle’ in Lost, the American actor, model and director has become heartthrob to many.
Ian was born and bred in Covington, Louisiana. He began modelling from the ages of 10 to 13, and decided to go into the acing industry at 17.
Ian dated his vampire co-star and love interest in TV series, Nina Dobrev from 2010 to 2013, who played Elena Gilbert. He then in 2014 dated actress Nikki Reed, yet another vampire gal who starred in the Twilight films, who he went on to marry in April 2015.
They now have a daughter, Bodhi Soleil, who was born in July this year.
