Christmas may mean different things to different people.
How it is celebrated also differs, among Christians even, and indeed around the world.

There are some things about Christmas you won’t find in the Bible.
It’s not an exhaustive list by any means.
1. There is no Santa Claus (or Father Christmas).
However, you could say that God is a benevolent father who gave His son Jesus to mankind as a gift, the ultimate gift.
2. No reindeer or sleigh.
However, this idea could have been derived from the scripture which indicates that God makes the clouds his chariots and rides the winds of heaven (Psalms).
3. No Christmas tree.
However, some have compared the cross on which Jesus was crucified to the reason for the tree. The disciple Peter actually refers to it as a tree, the cross that is.
4. No Christmas lunch.
Unlike the Easter celebration wherein Jesus breaks bread and drinks of the fruit of the vine before being crucified – and saying “do this in remembrance of me” – there’s nothing that He says about remembering or celebrating His birthday.
How much does it really matter?
God looks at the heart of a person.
If your intention is to revere Him, share His love and His message of hope, plus showing kindness and generosity to others I’d suggest you’re on safe ground.
