Best known as Jim Carrey, is one of the biggest movie stars of all time. He grew up in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada with three older siblings and was brought up in a Roman Catholic home.
The Canadian-American actor, comedian, impressionist, screenwriter and producer first became known in the public eye in 1990 when he got a role in a comedy TV series called In Living Color.

He then got his lead roles in bigger productions such as in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), Dumb and Dumber (1994), The Mask (1994), and Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995) and Batman Forever (1995).
He bagged Golden Globe Awards for Best Actor after his performances in The Truman Show (1998) and Man on the Moon (1999).
The spotlight grew bigger on Jim as he entered the 2000’s. His fame grew even more after he was starred in How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Bruce Almighty and for Me, Myself & Irene. Other movies that he’s had major roles in are Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), Fun with Dick and Jane (2005), Yes Man (2008), Horton Hears a Who! (2008) and Mr. Popper’s Penguins (2011).
Fans were thrilled by the idea of his return in Dumb and Dumber To in 2014 in which his performance was a stellar as that of 10 years previously.
