Having already been invited to perform at The Magners International Comedy Festival in Asia and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival this year, the comedian is delighted to be globe trotting with his brand new show, Culture Shock.
I’ve had a blessed and highly fulfilling career thanks to the support of family, friends and comedy lovers in Durban and South Africa; and that love has been spread to every corner of the earth. I’ve received invitations to perform from across the world based on requests of South Africans, and KZN people in particular, who live in other countries, – said Carvin.
“Being invited to the biggest comedy festival in Asia is a huge honour. The organisers passed over a lot of talent across the globe to choose me and I appreciate that acknowledgement,” he added.

In March, Carvin officially kicks off his world tour at The Magners International Comedy Festival – the biggest comedy festival in Asia! He’ll be performing at three different venues from 29 to 31 March in Bangkok, Thailand.
On April 3 he takes his tour to Vietnam, then Downunder to The Melbourne International Comedy Festival – the third largest comedy festival in the world! Carvin will be performing on April 21 at this festival at Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne. He will then stay on for mini tours in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Later in April Carvin will take the show to India. In November he heads to Qatar, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
