Best known on stage as Gucci Mane, the American rapper is the founder of 1017 Records. Gucci debuted with his album Trap House around 2005, followed by his second and third albums, Hard to Kill and Trap-A-Thon the following year.
Then in 2007 he released Back to the Trap House.
His first gold certified album happened in 2009, when he made his sixth album, The State vs. Radric Davis.

Gucci’s career then hit a standstill after he spent some time in prison from 2014 to 2016.
After his release, he then released Everybody Looking (2016).
That same year, he collaborated with the brother duo Rae Sremmurd for the hit song ‘Black Beatles’ which became Gucci’s first number-one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Other artists he has worked with include Lil Wayne, Drake, Omarion, Young Thug and even Mariah Carey.
