Barbadian singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, record producer, and actress Rihanna celebrates her 30th birthday today.

In 2003 she signed a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings. Two years later, she released her debut studio album Music of the Sun and its follow-up A Girl like Me (2006).

In 2007 she made her third studio album Good Girl Gone Bad with the hit single “Umbrella” which earned her her first Grammy Award at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards in 2008.

Some of Rihanna’s most
popular songs include: “Take a Bow”, “Disturbia”, “Only Girl (In the World)”, “S&M”, “We Found Love”, “Diamonds”, “Stay” and “Work” in which she is the lead artist, and her collaborations “Live Your Life” (with T.I.), “Love the Way You Lie” and “The Monster” (both with Eminem).

In 2014, Rihanna received the Fashion Icon lifetime achievement award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

She was also named Harvard University’s “Humanitarian of the Year” last year. She has also just recently released her new make up line – Fenty.

South African comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host. Trevor is now the host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central since 2015.

He has hosted several television programmes with South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and was the runner-up in the fourth season of Strictly Come Dancing in 2008.
