The finals of the ladies and men’s drawn pairs at AMBC was played last Saturday. After lots of rain in the morning, the sun came through and we were able to enjoy excellent bowls. Fred Hutchins and Colin McFarlane beat Len Brickhill and Denton Duvel with a score of 18 to 16.

In the ladies section Gail van Nikkelen-Kuyper and Norma Boyd beat Helen Turk and Liz Payne, 19-17.
Congratulations and good luck to Fred Hutchins who has been invited to play in the Preliminary Masters that will be played at The Bell this weekend.
